What is telehealth and how does it work?
Telehealth is secure, video-based healthcare. You meet with your provider face-to-face over a private, HIPAA-compliant video link from your phone, tablet, or computer. We review your symptoms, labs, and goals exactly as we would in-person — then ship medication and order your labs locally. No app to download.
Which Battle Born services are available by telehealth?
Every program we offer is fully telehealth-friendly: BHRT for women, testosterone replacement for men, medical weight loss with GLP-1 medications (semaglutide and tirzepatide), comprehensive lab panels, and personalized HRT plans. Initial consults, follow-ups, and ongoing monitoring are all virtual.
Is telehealth as good as an in-person visit for hormone therapy?
For hormone therapy and weight loss, yes — and often better. Treatment decisions are driven by your bloodwork and symptoms, both of which translate perfectly to video. You also get longer, unhurried visits than the typical 7-minute clinic appointment.
How do I get my labs done?
We send a lab order to a Quest or LabCorp draw site near you. You walk in, get your blood drawn (usually under 15 minutes), and your results route directly back to us — typically within 3–5 business days.
How is medication delivered?
All medication ships discreetly to your home from a licensed compounding pharmacy in temperature-appropriate packaging. No pharmacy lines, no missed pickups.
How long is a typical visit?
Initial consultations are 45–60 minutes so we can really understand your history, symptoms, and goals. Follow-ups are typically 20–30 minutes.
Do you take insurance?
Battle Born is a cash-based practice, which keeps pricing transparent and visits unhurried. We provide a superbill on request that you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
What do I need to get started?
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a stable internet connection. We email you a secure video link before each visit — that's it.
Can I switch from another provider to your telehealth program?
Absolutely. Many of our patients transfer from in-person clinics or other telehealth providers. Bring your most recent labs and we'll pick up where you left off.
Where do I need to be physically located for a visit?
You must be physically located in Nevada at the time of your appointment, since we are licensed to practice in Nevada. Travel and second homes are fine — just make sure you're in-state for the visit itself.
